Resume Tips

The resume is our first point of contact with you. Lets make it count by following some simple tips.

Read it more than twice. One small typo could ruin your chances of getting hired. Checking it once is not enough, so do it twice, three times or as many times as necessary.

Go with what you got, If you never had any real working experience, just include your summer jobs or volunteer work. If you are studying for a qualification, mention the title and the estimated date for completion.



Get someone else to review your resume. Even if you think your resume is perfect it is always good to get another perspective. Someone else may notice something that you didn’t.

Interview Tips

We do enjoy learning more about you and the interview gives us this opportunity. Using this time wisely both of us can learn more. Here are some pointers for this personal session:



Practice answering interview questions and practice your responses to the typical questions most employers ask. Think of actual examples you can use to describe your skills. Also have a list of your own questions to ask the employer ready.

Nothing is more embarrassing than having your phone go off during an interview. Your best option is to turn it off or leave it at home all together.

During the job interview try to relax and stay as calm as possible. Maintain eye contact with the interviewer. Listen to the entire question before you answer and pay attention.

Be on time for the interview. On time means ten to fifteen minutes early. If need be, go to the interview location ahead of time so you know exactly where you are going and how long it will take to get there.
